Humanize questions, answered
What is Humanize?
Humanize is Simplibot's AI voice agent. It makes and answers phone calls for your business: it calls new leads within minutes, answers inbound calls, qualifies callers, books meetings on your calendar and logs the outcome of every call, in its own dashboard or, in managed deployments, in your CRM.
Is Humanize a voice bot?
It is an agentic AI voice agent rather than a scripted voice bot. A traditional voice bot or IVR follows a fixed menu; Humanize holds a natural two-way conversation, decides the next step and takes actions such as booking a meeting or updating a record, using your company's knowledge and each customer's history through Ontology.
Can Humanize make outbound calls and answer inbound calls?
Yes. Humanize handles outbound calling, such as speed-to-lead follow-up, qualification and reactivating older leads, and inbound calls, answering as your front line around the clock.
How much does Humanize cost?
Self-serve plans start at $150 a month. Basic is $150 a month for one user; Flexi is $150 per seat a month for teams of up to 25 seats. Each seat includes 3,000 calls a month, and call time is billed separately per answered minute, at 15¢ a minute in the US and 9¢ in India. New accounts get $20 of call credit. Enterprise and managed deployments are priced with you. See the pricing page for details.
Can I set Humanize up myself?
Yes. In the self-serve app you sign up, choose a plan, build a campaign with your script and qualifying questions, and hear your agent on a free test call before you launch. If you would rather have it built for you, Simplibot can set it up with your team as a managed deployment.
How quickly does Humanize call a new lead?
In production deployments, Humanize has called new leads within 3 to 5 minutes of signup, at any hour, and webinar attendees within 90 seconds of an event ending.
Which CRMs and calendars does it work with?
Humanize books meetings directly on Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook calendars, across a pool of team members, and sends the caller an invite. In managed deployments, Simplibot connects it to the systems you already run; deployments to date include HubSpot for CRM and Calendly for scheduling. Tell us your stack on a demo call and we will confirm the integration plan.
How long does setup take?
On the self-serve Basic and Flexi plans, you go live in 5 to 7 minutes: build a campaign in the app and test it yourself before launching. Managed deployments, where Simplibot builds CRM and calendar integration and qualification flows with your team, have gone from signed agreement to live calls in 8 to 9 days.
What happens when a lead doesn't answer?
Humanize detects voicemail and can leave a message, retries unanswered calls automatically and can follow up by email. Managed deployments add an SMS with a self-scheduling link, a WhatsApp message or a scheduled callback, so missed calls don't become lost leads.
Does Humanize work beyond phone calls?
Yes. Humanize reaches leads across voice, SMS, WhatsApp and email. It leads with a phone call and follows up by email when someone doesn't answer; managed deployments add SMS and WhatsApp, so every lead gets a response on a channel they use.
How fast does Humanize respond during a call?
Humanize runs with sub-second AI voice latency on regionally optimized infrastructure, so it answers without the long pauses that make callers hang up on slower voice bots. It waits for the caller to say hello before speaking, and stops talking as soon as they interrupt.
Which languages does Humanize speak?
In the US and Canada, Humanize speaks natural North American English. In India it speaks 11 Indian languages: Hindi, Indian English, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu, and it switches language when the caller does.
Will callers know they are talking to AI?
Yes. On outbound calls, Humanize tells the person early in the call that it is a virtual assistant and that the call is recorded, and ends the call politely if they object to the recording.
How does Humanize handle calling compliance?
Compliance safeguards are built in. Humanize discloses that it is a virtual assistant and that the call is recorded on outbound calls; if someone asks not to be called again, it ends the call and adds the number to your do-not-call list; and it only dials within permitted calling hours, 8 AM to 9 PM in the recipient's local time in the US. You remain responsible for having permission to contact the people you call. Ask us on a demo about the rules for your industry and region.
What do I see after each call?
Every call is recorded and transcribed, with a short summary, key points, the caller's sentiment and interest, next steps such as a booking or an email to send, and whether to call again. The dashboard shows your outbound funnel, inbound activity and the calls that need your attention.
Does Humanize replace my sales team?
No. It takes over dialing, first contact and early qualification so your people spend their time on qualified conversations. In one education deployment, all six SDRs moved from outreach to running demos and closing enrollments.
